Note:  I forget that not all my friends are on Facebook and I made a recipe the other day of the coconut balls that were posted on Facebook and took a picture of them and put them on our blog the other night.  Sharon, (of Mike & Sharon) inquired as to what the balls were so if you are interested in the recipe email me and I will send it to you!!

sale sign in front of him!  How can anyone give

up a pet as unique as this!!??!!

This is the first year we've seen the

"Queen of the ICW"  That's what we've named

her anyway!

How does this palm tree survive!  Bob asked the

bridge tender and she said it is actually sitting on a

sand spit and it just happens to be high tide right now.  Then

he proceeds to flirt with her and the next thing I hear is

"jump on the net!" "jump on the net!" as we were

passing under the bridge.  Luckily for me she couldn't

make it this time...but she sure did have a cute

"southern draw!"

You really can't see this very well...but the red blurry

area in the middle towards the top is a gigantic

sea nettle and boy was it ugly!  It had a red ring all the

way around the outside of the tentacles!

The end of another beautiful but cold day!

 

Today was another cold day on the ICW. It did finally start to warm up around 1 o'clock just when we were hitting the fuel dock.  We dropped anchor around 2:30 and are in Wrightsville, NC.  We plan on spending an extra day here so we can do some grocery shopping and sleep in Sunday morning!  We had Gary & Jayne over for dinner tonight.  It was nice to just sit and relax and know that we don't have to hurry up and finish because we have to get an early start in the morning!  We are still having an early night though!!
