Having fun now !

Good times were had by all including Bob and I

My pot pie
Today we were up and on the water by 0900.  We had a great “motoring” day.  There was no wind so no reason to put the jib or main sail up.

Our port head has been a little slow in flushing lately, so I decided I would fix it.  Boy was that a wrong decision on my part !  Now don’t get me wrong, I did an excellent job, and it flushes like it is brand new, but trust me, you don’t want to ask me what I had to do to make it work like that!  Bob said since I was such an expert at it now, when the one on the starboard side needs to be done he was going to let me do it.  You don’t want to know what I had commented back to him!

We dropped anchor at 4 p.m. and I made dinner for us tonight.  I decided to try the pot pie.  I didn’t have the right kind of crust so I thought I would try using fresh bread instead.  Nope, that didn’t work out so well.  It normally takes a pot pie 1.5 hours (max) to cook, mine took 15 minutes and it burned so bad on the bottom I couldn’t get it out; and if I could, you couldn’t eat it!  The crust was a little burnt, but nothing the guys couldn’t handle !

It was a fairly early night for me, but Bob stayed up and partied like a Rock Star! You should have heard him belting out the songs with his IPod.  He didn’t think I could hear him, but he knew he sounded good!  I At times he was sitting outside looking at the moon and stars, and at one point saw 4 shooting stars !  At least those were quiet moments!

It finally quieted down around 10 p.m.  and we both were finally able to get some sleep!
