Our morning sunrise as we are leaving our
anchorage
Just be thankful I only put 2 on the blog...I had about
12 pictures I wanted to put on!
Look at the smile on his face! Now that's one
happy Captain....left driving in his robe this
morning!!
USCG working on something here??!!
Now that's a lot of bird poop!
See the red magenta line going across?
That's South Carolina! It's already getting warm!
Me trying to get a shot of the dolphins!
Bob trying too also, but gets me instead?!
Well at least somebody got it!
Hummm......I think he may have had the same
problem last year!
Sun setting in Calabash, SC....right at the
Carolina borders
Check out our rainbow....
Different view of our anchorage
The red X is where we anchored...Calabash Creek
is just north of Myrtle Beach.
The dotted line is the NC/SC border.

Another great day on the water. Bob left driving in his bathrobe this morning which made him a very happy man! Originally we were only going about 30 miles but it turned into such a beautiful day and we reached our original spot around 11 a.m. we decided to go another 30 miles. There is a long canal coming it and not a lot of places to drop the anchor. So since we went the extra miles yesterday we will be getting into Georgetown, SC around 4 p.m. tomorrow. We may or may not spend a day there.....just down the road from there is our favorite anchorage spot of all....that is where the dolphins come in for feeding and are all over the place....last year we dropped anchor and immediately jumped into the dinghy and went and played with them for awhile...so we will definitely be going there!
We went to Gary and Jayne's for dinner tonight. Boy was it wonderful! They have a slow cooker on the back of their boat and they cooked some ribs on it for about 3 hours before serving them up hot and tender to us for dinner! Then my favorite comfort food, macaroni & cheese AND roasted potato's....it doesn't get any better than that! They are into the world series and we're not....so they are getting ready to watch the game and Bob and I are getting ready to hit the hay! After all, it is 7:30 in the evening!
Beautiful pictures! The warmth must feel good.
