We are having N.Y Style Deli Rye homemade bread!!

First time I have made fresh bread and first time

using the bread maker

Oh no!  Bob just checked the engines and found this

MAJOR transmission leak in the motor on the starboard side!

No, he's not happy!

 

Today was a good day.  We left at 0645 this morning and had a beautiful ride.  We probably averaged 7 knots throughout the day.  We even put the jib up!  Listen to me, I'm talking like I had anything to do with any of this!  My duties lie somewhere else!

 

While Bob was enjoying his day at the helm I on the other hand was quite busy.  Not only did I fix Bob another duck omelet and coffee for breakfast, but I did dishes, read a book and took a much deserved nap!  After my nap I relieve him for 30 minutes...I felt that was plenty of time!  I also baked bread, cooked some pasta, deboned chicken, etc. now I need another nap!

 

Jayne & Gary came over for dinner tonight.  After we said our good-byes, Bob came in and checked the engines and this is what he found, a transmission fuel leak!  He is now downstairs sending a "very nice email" to the company who came out and worked on our boat when it was pulled just prior to our leaving.  We are still leaving in the a.m., 0445 so we can clear two bridges before they close completely between the hours of 0630-0900.
