We found a home for our steps! D & S you
really do need these this winter....look how high
the water is already!!
6 a.m. this morning as we were pulling out
This is a shot of the chartplotter and what it looks
like coming up on the Bay Bridge
This is what we are actually seeing
This is us under the bridge. Beautiful picture!
Recognize this? We are anchored at Solomon's Island
We got here around 5 p.m.
Today was quite the day for Bob. He pretty much did it all. I on the other hand slept the day away. I got up with a bad cold and was totally exhausted and did NOTHING but sleep all day. That's not true, I did make Bob a cup of coffee this morning and a salad for lunch but then back to bed!
The day was pretty uneventful. Bob just headed into the wind all day and it blew up to 20 knots on the nose and Bob's face is all red from wind burn. As of right now we are not sure if we are leaving in a.m. or not...need to watch the weather and see how we feel in the morning!
Bob & Lynn,
ReplyDeleteBon Voyage! Thanks for the blog posts. Looks and sounds like you're off to a routine journey for a couple of seasoned veteran sailors. Enjoy and keep the pics coming.
I will hit you up with e-mail to show you our new course and adventure. Just a little teaser. She don't sip diesel at .65 gallons per hour, she gulps it.
Awaiting your email. Can't wait to hear all about it!
