Leaving Titusville at first light.
Sweet little sunrise.
Flamingos!!!!
Pink Flamingos!!!!
We finally see them!!!!
There were about 9 or 10 hanging around a couple of the islands.

Now this is a crab pot marker!
There must be a BONANZA of crabs here!
Nice little beach !
I'm gonna get ya! Sneaking up on a fish !!
Pretty shallow water !
These two are on a ??racing kayak?? getting ready to make their move !
I didn't know their move involved us !!
Right behind us going 6.5 knots = 7.1 mph!!
So we drop the hook in New Smyrna.
Gordon picks us up.
Debbie wasn't ready (preparing dinner) so Gordon thought he'd
take us to the American Veterans for a cool beverage.
Good idea.
We walk in and lo and behold we hear, "Bob. Lynn. Holy Cow!"
Yikes.
Who in the heck would know us out in the middle of nowhere,
in a little, tiny, 'ole bar???
"It's me! We met down at Schooner's bar" (which is a in the middle
of nowhere, little, tiny, 'old bar in Big Pine Key)
How in the heck.............???

"You guys are from Maryland."
We were dumfounded. How would someone who you met once,
at a bar, for a hour or so getting drinks, remember our names?
What's she doing working at a bar? She should be a stockbroker
or such.
Bob asked her what she was doing up here?
"I live here, I just went down to Big Pine Key where it was warm."
Well, we felt like clowns not even remembering her. At all.
We felt bad......
Bob had to ask her name, "Beth."
So we asked her a few questions about this and that and it
all fit. We still felt bad about not remembering her at all, such
a nice person she was.
And we felt bad for about the whole hour we were there as
she always came back around.
So we were getting ready to leave...and she showed us this.
Crib Sheet.
Gordon had written out everything she said on a bar napkin earlier.
She played her part perfectly.
Just perfectly.
So, Gordon, we have 8 months to think about how we're going
to return the favor. Hee Hee. We can be brilliant!
We are at Debbie and Gordon's now
This is the first time we've met Savannah
She is a 2.5 year old pure white German Shepard
There's Daisy!
Better shot of Savannah!
Not a bad shot of me either !!
Awwww....Maggie !
Hello Boo!
Better shot of Daisy
This is Sherwood!
I'm trying to get him to show me his "pretty wings" but
all he wants to do is bite me!
Fabulous cruise from Titusville to New Smyrna; flat, calm, and warm. Gordon picked us up about 3:00 pm and took us to the AMVETS bar (we'll get 'em). Saw Debbie, played with all the animals, and had a great spaghetti/salad/garlic bread dinner. Andy and Sandie showed up as well and we've really gotten to know them better (they are from the Ellicott City area, living in Florida. Sandie's a real estate agent. Andy's got a lot of fingers in the fires. He used to work for one of the MRYC members awhile back as a mechanic so have some northern people in common. Andy and Sandie dropped us back at the dock and Bob and I made a superduper dark trip back to the boat and played some cards.
