 There was just an article in the paper about how rare white pelicans 

are in this area and low and behold ~ they are here !  along with 

hundreds of cormorants just hangin' in the area !!

 Look at all the heads sticking out of the water !

All in all, we probably saw a dozen of them!

Today was a great day for us.  We went into town and on the way in saw all the cormorants and white pelicans everywhere, then we found some manatees at the marina again.  I'm sure they were the same ones from yesterday, but we didn't care it was just great seeing them !  While taking pictures of them, a woman comes over to us and said there were a lot of them down the end of the pier where someone was washing there boat, so we "high-tailed" it down there to check it out...boy was she right, they were everywhere.  I guess they love fresh water and come from everywhere to be around it !

We went to Save A Lot and finished our grocery shopping today.  Now I see why Bob was so excited about the store, boy was it cheap and the meat there was outstanding.  You should have seen the rack of ribs you could get for $10, it was crazy!!

After shopping we went to Crackerjacks to meet up with Eben and Carol.  We probably spent about 2 hours with them.  They're a great couple and we plan on seeing them again next year.  They're definitely our kind of people, they can show us and/or tell us the best Tiki bars to go to, they know where all of them are south of Coco Beach!

Once we came back to the boat, Bob cooked steaks on the grill.  What a way to end a beautiful day !!
