Tonight we went to Schooner Wharf for dinner
Bill & Mo!
Another great day in Key West! We did a lot of looking/shopping down on Duval Street and even hit a pawn shop prior to going to Duval. Getting to Duval was another story though. Bill & Mo turned their bicycles in this morning so we didn't have to worry about being back to the bicycle shop at 5. So, now that we don't have any bikes, Bill's feet/ankles are getting better but need to be preserved for walking downtown, we now need to figure out how we are going to get there. We decided to take the shuttle until we found out it was $29 a person, not, so we moved on to the 4 searter golf carts (we agreed if we could get it for $100 for 24 hours that way Bob and I could use it for shopping tomorrow) then we would do that; not again. It was $150 until midnight, so we moved on again deciding we would take a taxi; we knew that would be about $10-15 and we were right....so taxi it was....finally arriving...and another guy tries to steal it from us. Luckily we were going to the same general location so she took all of us!
Once we got downtown we took pictures, did some shopping, met up with Bob (he was doing his own running around before meeting us), went to an art gallery on Duval St. that Paul Brown from Middle River Yacht Club is part owner of, did more shopping, ate some wonderful sandwiches at the Panini restraurant, did some more shopping, that's when Bob and Bill decided they needed a break and went to the Flying Monkey for a frozen drink, met up with us again and we decided to do a beer or two on the way down to Malory Square, did some more shopping, passed on going to Malory Square and went to Schooner's Wharf for dinner, before we finally headed home. It was a great way to end Bill & Mo's vacation here in Key West. Great time was had by all!
Just for information, my phone (texting mostly) hasn't been working....I guess it felt that having 3,741 pictures on it was just a little too much...lol !!
