Jeeze
For your around-the-world adventure
1,000 mile marker
Only 1,270 more miles to go !!
The Gingerbread House
With a small boat in their front yard
This guy pulled out right in front of us
Couldn't pass him in the narrow channel
We lost about 1/2 hour and smelled the stinky diesel exhaust
Oh no! Not again!
For some reason our toilet wouldn't flush so I was hoping it
was an easy fix....NO....I had to tear the whole thing apart to
find the problem!
Our cubby hole
Our sunset
Dream Catcher is here in Vero Beach at the anchorage area
in the middle of mangroves and Australian Pines
Good travels today, wind out of the south and we flew the jib most of the day picking up an extra 1/2 knot. Hey, every knot counts, even if it's only 1/2 of one. I tore up the head. What a piece of junk. The waste maserator blades/vane is made of stainless steel. The intake water vane is made of plastic. Idiots. Bob emailed the company and request 4 more and asked why the vane was made of plastic (you'll remember we have already gone through 4 electrical switches because they were made of trash).
Pulled into Vero Beach, fueled, watered, detrashed, and iced. Met up with Gary and Jane in a beautiful little anchorage right outside the mooring field. Deep water right up to the mangroves. Perfect calmness and a beautiful sunset.
(In case you can't tell, I asked Bob to do the blog today because he took most of the pictures and I wasn't sure what the story was behind them.....after reading it I decided not to take part in this posting....he's a little upset about the toilet! I on the other hand, was ok with it....just another broken part!)

The Jupiter Inlet Lighthouse is located in Jupiter, Florida, on the north side
of the Jupiter Inlet. The site for the lighthouse was chosen in 1853.
It is located between Cape Canaveral Light and the Hillsboro Inlet Light.
It is 108', opened in 1860, and first lit in 1860

Here's the culprit
It was the intake water vane
It cracked almost right in half
So Bob is expoxing it back together until we can get another one!
