Good bye Key West
See you next year!!

You notice the black spot in the middle of the screen towards the bottom...
that is us....to the left is a red line with a bunch of sailboats circled....
that's the ICW....we decided to go on the outside today, it was such
a beautiful morning and early afternoon, the last couple of hours were a little
rough and a bit chillier...

 Where ya goin' birdies??!!?

 Oh, now I see !!

This guy has four wind generators!
He's our neighbor for the night...

Our sunset in Islamadora, FL

We were up and out early this morning.  We left at 0630 so we could put some miles in.  ICW miles was about 90; outside miles was about 75.  Tomorrow we won't have to get up as early, we are only doing about 35 miles tomorrow and Thursday.

Well guess what!??!  Who would have thought Bob's new gauges would give him a "heads up" that there is a problem in the engine on our first day traveling back north!  But it did.  Bob was just watching the gauges like he normally does, and all of a sudden, the oil pressure gauge on the starboard engine jumps from 30 to 70 within a few seconds.  So he brings the engine down to idle to go and see what the problem is, not thinking he would find anything right away, and low and behold, he opens the engine hatch and there is water all inside the engine.  Of course he immediately comes out and shuts the engine down and tells me there is a problem with the engine, there was a lot of water in there and he needed to find out what the problem was.  I go back with him and look, and at the same time we both see a hose that has come off...wa-la....the problem is fixed and all is back to normal....now isn't that great!

We talked with Dream Catcher today.  Originally they were leaving Miami on Wednesday or Thursday, but now that they know we are going to be there on Thursday they are going to hold off for a couple of days before leaving.  Derek and Shelly are flying into Miami on Friday night and Jayne and Gary would like to see them (they met them in Middle River this past summer) also.  So, for now, it looks like they will be staying a couple of extra days!
