Our morning sunrise
This is for you Garry & Carol
We found Rick and told him you said "HI!
We'll see you after the New Year!"
Remember Jay & Joan from Key West?
I ran into them at the Seven Sea's Cruising Association!
Doesn't Joan look fabulous!
She lost weight, cut her hair, and looks beautiful!
You lucky man Jay!!
We left Cocoa this morning and arrived in Melbourne, FL about 2 1/2 hours later! Short trip! I went to the SSCA today and went to 3 seminars. The first one was on Safety and Security and Ethical Issues with Customs in the Caribbean (very informative), 2nd was on Modern Anchors and Ground Tackle (informative info on exactly that) I went to this training with the hopes of trying to learn why Bob is so "anal" about how much chain he has to put out....I did learn some but was hoping to learn more...I did learn we have a top of the line anchor so that's good! My 3rd class was on Winlink 2000 which is the class I really wanted to attend. It was very informative and I can't wait to download the program along with the email program so I can start playing with it and getting myself familiar with it! It's a good thing I got my call-sign, otherwise, this would not be happening!
After classes we went over to Gary & Jayne's boat and had a wonderful dinner, superb dessert (Chocolate Peanut Butter pie from Sweetie Pie's Pie!), and caught up on what was happening the last couple of days. The arrived in Melbourne, FL yesterday around 3 p.m.
Another great day of cruising and learning on the waterway!!
