What a day it has been already!

We left at 0700 with winds sustained around 20-22

We don't have far to go before we are in a canal 

again and better protected!

Yep....this time it is my turn :0(

While pulling up the bridle for the anchor I got hit with a wave

and when I stepped back to try and not get too wet my 

slippie came off and blew into the water....

Luckily Bob saved it for me....No more making fun of

 Our first  boat of the day....oops! I meant tug!

We are in Coinjock fueling up and this pup begged me
to play with him...how could I resist!

 All these birds are sitting on pilings that used to be a dock!

 It's baby time!

 It's c-o-l-d !! And I'm driving....OK maybe I'm
on auto pilot, but once in a while I do have to come out
from under my blankie to move a degree to the right or left !

Boy was it cold today!  With the temps being in the 50's and the wind blowin' there was no warming up!  Once we got to Great Bridge, which is about 12 miles south of Norfolk, the sun was finally starting to warm us up.  Not being in the river helped a lot too!

Tomorrow we are hoping to make it to Deltaville, but that is going to depend on the bay.  It's still supposed to be cold and windy from the north.  We shall see!
