Our sunrise this morning
We are headed for Dewey Creek....aka Dolphin Creek!

 Elliott Cut
Idling on one engine with the other engine off
we went through this cut at 6.7 knots!
We decided to turn around and go back with the engines going
to see how fast we would go
Going back up at 2500 rpm we hit 3.4 knots and coming
back down at 2500 it was 10 but we had to slow down at end so
definitely could have been faster!

See the turtle ?  :0)

Elliott Cut and it's beauty !

Coming into Charleston, SC

We anchored here last year
It was really full then!

This is a hydro foil
You should have seen him skipping across the waters!

Charleston Harbor Bridge

Mo palms !!!

The water is very "skinny" here as Bob likes to put it
He says this is probably the worst part of the journey we
take during all of our travels !??!

If you look closely at this boat you will see that the owner
winterized it on his own
He put some sort of plastic on it and used a lot of blue
painter's tape to hold it on !

Ben Sawyer Bridge
This is a huge barge that we had to wait on

More houses with low tide coming out of Charleston

Another house

Goat Island Gatherings !!

Us coming into our cubby hole tonight

Our back yard
Bob is a little leery of it - he's thinking once the tide goes down a bit,
and if the winds pick up more, we may be sitting
on the muddy ground with the grass!

Our sun beginning to set

Our dolphin playing with us during sunset !

Storymaker with the sunset!

and Bobby with the sunset!

We arrived around noon here in Dewey Creek.  We haven't seen much action as far as dolphin goes but we are hoping once the waters settle and the current brings the fishes in, the dolphins will soon follow.

It was a beautiful yet cool ride today.  It was supposed to get to 72 degrees but that never happened.  It did get to 69 around 5 p.m. but when you're out in the elements it feels a lot cooler.

Bob and I actually laid out in the sun for a bit today on the trampoline.  I think secretly, we were hoping to see dolphins and that was the best place to be!

Around 4:30 we saw a couple of dolphin; however, we were never inundated with them.  So we decided we would put the dinghy in the water and follow them around.  They were actually pretty cute.  They would come up out of the water and look at us and then go back down real fast.  Then they would spring up somewhere else close to us and then dive down again.  This went on for about an hour.  It was a lot of fun!

Tomorrow we are headed to Georgetown, SC.
