The sky this morning!
Love the sun rays!
Bob going to meet Gordon this morning to
give him back his keys in exchange for some ice!
Our anchorage last night.
Just a narrow strip right next to the ICW.
Cameron's Marina
Where we met Gordon
Birds hangin' on some rocks
Great shot of a Pelican flying!
The bridge tender said she would open the bridge but we
could only have the North side due to maintenance :0)
Captain Bob said it was a "squeaker!"
Us going through the north side!
Plenty of room, Capt!
Pretty island right off the ICW just north of Cape Canaveral
!!!A Half Bow!!!
Garry & Carol
Friends from Bel Air (Bob and Garry taught together at Harford
Community College), but just moved to central Florida.
We gave them a tour of the boat before exploring Cocoa
The yellow line represents our travels down the ICW
from Edgewater to Cocoa
The yellow line is Bob going into the dinghy dock to pick up Garry & Carol
The red line is where we walked around town....very quaint and peaceful area
The green line is us coming back to Storymaker....you can tell there was no
drinking involved!
The puppy-dogs are very cute but we had nothing to do with that!!
We loafed in the morning a tad late as it was nice not to have it blow so hard! But we pulled anchor at 0900 hours and made 51 miles to Cocoa Beach. During the 51 mile trip Bob saw 6! manatees; I on the other hand only saw 1! The winds still blew up to 30 knots, but somehow it didn't seem so bad. Never warmed up too much but today was to be the coolest we should see in awhile.
We met Garry and Carol right after we dropped the hook in Cocoa and walked the town a bit. We found a little cozy nook of a restaurant where both Bob and I ordered the same, "Special." Steak flatbread sandwich and some tea!
beautiful pictures hope you guys have a new mazing weekend
