Merry Christmas Everyone!

 

Our internet has been down for the last few days....so for Christmas Santa brought it back up for me!  I love Christmas!

 

We have a luncheon to go to in a bit so I will be back later this afternoon to update again! The internet was down again until now on December 26th!

My last bite and I spill it on my dress!  Of course it had to be

red cranberry sauce!  No problem, I used my "specialty vodka

and seltzer water to clean it up!

Today I was up at 0800 to start my pot luck makings for the “Cruisers Luncheon” over at Brendal’s Dive Shop.  Mine actually was pot luck.  I was going to make a “Suddenly Salad” to take but when I went to get it out of the storage area, I came to realize, I don’t have any left.  So, I go into Plan B.  Plan B, I made some chocolate covered pretzels but they wouldn’t get hard, so I moved on to Plan C…I made a Chocolate/Vanilla Pudding pie.  It too wouldn’t harden.  I took the pretzels and pie anyway.  I ran out of plans!  It worked out well though; everyone just grabbed a cup and had pudding in the cup with graham cracker crust as a side! 

Today was the first day it’s been cloudy and rainy for a good amount of the day.  We didn’t care though, it was Christmas and I got to talk with Jen for 3:01 minutes.  We only had 6 minutes left on the phone and Bob still needed to call Bill and his parents; luckily I had called my Dad on Christmas Eve.  We did manage to get all calls in within the 6:31 minute time frame.  The phone company opens again on Thursday (we believe) so I will pick some more minutes up then.

The internet and phones have been down for the last couple of days so I was quite surprised when I was able to get on this morning.  It was my Christmas present from Santa!  I/we had a few emails wishing us a Merry Christmas and the cutest picture from Jon & Jen with Charlie, their puppy in it by the Christmas tree.  I was so excited, I couldn’t believe the internet was working again.  I go on my blog just to download one picture and wish everyone a Merry Christmas, and then we left for our luncheon.  I really, really didn’t want to sign off for fear I’d never get back on again, and guess what! I was right….it’s gone again :0(
