Green Turtle Cay, White Sound where we are anchored
Black Sound where Max was staying....awwwww....
Map of the Cay and where we are anchored
We are anchored between Bluff House
This is where I get my internet for free... kind of....
and this is on the other side of our anchorage
where we get water for 25 cents a gallon

Full sail!

This is the entrance to Green Turtle Cay
You see the red ball, that is the first real buoy we have
seen in a very long time.  Coming in were red buoy floats on right
and green ones on the left.

As soon as we got up this morning Gary contacted us on the radio.  He said he listened to the radio (Chris does the weather for the Bahamas area) this morning at 0630 and Chris said that we were going to be getting lots of winds from the N/NE and that he wanted to leave as soon as possible.  The area we were anchored in was not conducive for bad weather so I got Bob up and we pulled anchor and headed for Green Turtle Cay.  I was actually thankful for that because tomorrow is Jenny’s birthday and I wanted to be somewhere I could buy a phone and maybe some internet minutes.  I got Bob up and off we went.  We sailed all the way.  The sky was gloomy but that was OK, we didn’t care!

While traveling I got a lot of cleaning done.  I had to clean the bilge on the starboard side because it was beginning to have a rank smell to it.  Then I decided to clean the bathroom, kitchen cabinets, and anything else that required water!  I guess we need to fill the tank again.  At 6 gallons an hour it could take us a while although I know we can do it!

We are here at Green Turtle now and have settled down for the evening.  Tomorrow we go into town and buy a phone so I can call Jenny finally!
