When we were getting ready to dinghy over to Great Sale
Island this morning Bob saw something in the water...
this is what he found...a nylon rope wrapped around our prop.
Gotta love the folding props! No problem getting it off!

Me checking out the tree!
Happy Birthday Gary!
This is Gary’s big, big day and we are going
to enjoy it to the max! He told us last
night he was going to be busy all morning and by 2 p.m. he should be ready for
company?!!!? He said he was going to get
his water maker going….he must have meant it because we haven’t been able to
reach him on the radio all morning!
Bob has been working on the water maker
all morning and things seem to be going well.
No cursing whatsoever! I made
some spinach balls as an appetizer tonight so now all I need to do is throw
them on the grill for 20 minutes. I’d
throw them in the oven but “unfortunately” there is no such thing on my boat
this cruising season, next year will be a different story. We did buy the convection oven but since our
genny took a crap I can’t use the convection oven…no complaints though….life is
good!
We took a dinghy ride over to the island
this afternoon and walked the white, sandy, beautiful beach. After the beach we went back to Dream Catcher
and started the birthday party! Gary
requested beef stroganoff for dinner which Jayne made from scratch and it was
delicious! He also requested some sort
of chocolate goodie for dessert and once again she came through for him; a
chocolate cake with fudge icing, it can’t get any better than that!
We’ve decided to leave tomorrow and head
for Hawksbill Cay in the a.m. There is a
small town called Fox Town there. From
what we are reading on it, and from what Jayne has told me, it’s kind of a poor
area and not to expect a lot from it as far as groceries, laundry, or a phone
store. Hopefully internet will be
availaible!
